There are many reasons why I love selling vintage decor and having my own business. One of the reasons is getting to know other women who have also followed their passion and talent to have their own shop. Whether online, or in a brick and mortar, I know when I visit their shops, I am seeing what has personally appealed to them. This makes each of my friends' shops unique and special.
Recently, I visited my friend, Sharon Brown who owns a delightful shop in Friendswood, TX. I met Sharon a few years ago when we both had booths in a high end French/European home decor and antique shop in Houston. After leaving there, I have focused my business online where Sharon fulfilled a dream and opened her own shop, Marrone Market.
The word marrone means brown in Italian and it is certainly apropos! Inside the 1100 square foot shop is furniture and decor that Sharon has personally selected in her travels, including Italy. In her words;
"At Marrone Market, we pride ourselves in bringing you distinctive and unique European antiques, gifts, and home decor. We are constantly travelling and searching for new and exciting items to add to our uncommon collection"

So plan a visit to Marrone Market located at 610 S. Friendswood Dr , Friendswood TX 77546. And if you can't make the drive, visit Sharon and Marrone Market on Facebook or the shop's website!
Till next time!
