This antique bow fronted cottage chest has a fresh new look with layers of paint and a subtle glaze. I bought this old chest from a woman who lived in Round Top, TX. Someone previously stained it and it looked a little shabby (see before photo). With some cleaning and several layers of paint, it is now shabby chic! Perfect size for a bed side chest or in a small foyer.

Cleaned and sanded with two coats tinted primer. Layered with white and a light grey paint colors with dry brushing to create a distressed look. Inside drawers are painted in a fun blue-green. Bow fronted drawers are dovetailed and slide out easily.The drawer pulls are reproductions and not original to the piece. Finished with a flat sealant.
