French Provincial Chest on Chest Highboy

This vintage French Provincial Highboy or chest on chest dresser is stunning! Painted in layers of cream and blue, it is gently antiqued with a dark glaze. Original hardware pulls have been painted to complement the new color.

Originally yellow, the chest was primed with two coats of a tinted primer. The body has several layers of blues, with a cream color on the trim. A dark glaze was applied to give the highboy a subtle aged look. Sealed with a durable satin acrylic finish.

The dove tailed drawers work well and are very clean inside with nice looking wood. The chest also has dust panels. This 5 drawer chest on chest dresser is very well made.
